Yoga at Urban OM is urban; it reaches out to those who want to be in the world yet stay deeply connected in themselves. We value realness and truth, to not promote egos or get stuck at the surface. We want to practice yoga as yoga was meant to be – to fall inwards, to feel your body and to reconnect with your soul.
We are always curious to meet new shift-shaking, peace-making and knowledgeable yogis to join our fantastic Yoga Teacher team. So if our vision fits in with yours consider this.

  • 500 hours of Yoga Alliance registered education
  • Teaching experience of 10+ hours per week for 2+ years
  • Participated in courses at Baravara and/or Path of Love
  • Completed Yoga Teacher Training courses at Urban OM
By meeting such criteria, it’s not a guarantee to be able to work at Urban OM, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction. * Please note : Yoga Teachers and Event Holders are hired twice each year, approximately 6 months before the Spring and Fall schedules begin.

SESSION GIVERS

WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE BETTERMENT OF HUMANITY BY HELPING PEOPLE FEEL BETTER IN THEMSELVES?

Sessions at Urban OM are an integral part of our offering. We value realness and truth, to not promote egos or get stuck in surface. We want to support people to fall inwards, to be in the body and to be real.
We are always curious to meet new transformative alchemists to join the fantastic session giver team, so if our vision fits in with yours please complete the application form below.
To work at Urban OM, we recommend that you have:
  • 3 to 5 years training as a therapist
  • 3 to 5 years working as a therapist post qualification
  • been giving sessions every week having 5-10 clients per week
  • participated in courses at Baravara and/or Path of Love
  • participated in a Taste of Urban OM
  • a supervising therapist

 We will introduce the format of the training and explore if this could be the right next step for you own your yoga journey. We are ready to answer all your questions and you get to feel the vibe at our beautiful center, if you haven’t already!
