Sudheesh was born and raised in a Hindu Pandit family in Kerala in the very south of India. Yoga vedanta and Ayurveda has been present all his life through the familys’ practise, Jeevamrutha Vidyashala.
He started yoga at the age of seven together with his brothers and we were also at an early stage introduced to basic ayurvedic treatment techniques and recipes from his grandfather who practiced as an Ayurvedic Doctor. In 2003 he started to work as a massage therapist at the family clinic and then went on to work at different clinics around India.

Noah Mckenna runs Teacher Training programs annually in India where is the the director of the Hatha Yoga program at the Mystic School in Mysore. He travels extensively to lecture and teach on a wide variety of Yoga related topics. He has taught Yoga in a variety of ways for 20 years and practiced for 25. Noah’s approach Sukhashanti Yoga is informed by the Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hatha approaches and draws from a variety of teachers both India and Western.
Being based in Mysore, India for well over a decade has afforded Noah some specialexperience. Having run 16 teacher training courses over 7 years and graduated hundreds of students. Giselle will be focusing on guiding asana & pranayama teaching techniques, teaching methodology, hands on assisting & practicum as well as the study and chanting of scriptures.
An Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and E-RYT 500, Giselle’s introduction to yoga in the early 90’s was a natural progression from her gymnastics/dance background, her passion for music and being raised by a bohemian flamenco dancer; all of which have influenced her style and approach to teaching and life.
Drawn to the Jivamukti Yoga method, she began her extensive study with her gurus Sharon Gannon and David Life who she joyfully assisted throughout the western U.S. for almost 5 years. She has had the honor to serve as a mentor on the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training faculty and will be co-facilitating the 300-hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in May of 2016.

Urban OM welcomes Lucas Benet to our Yoga Training Faculty. During Urban OM Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 Course Lucas will be focusing on anatomy & physiology as applied to asana & pranayama techniques as well as hands on assisting skills.
Since a small child Lucas has been participating in almost every outdoor sport imaginable that had something to do with the wind, water, mountains, beach you name it Lucas was there. His most successful adventure and sport was Windsurfing, where he was the National Champion of Spain/Europe and went on to participate in the World Championships.
Along with his many successes resulted many injuries that come along with hard competitive sports, which led him to learn and investigate therapy and rehabilitation to heal and repair his own body. This path led him to become an Integral Osteopath and from there he continued his studies in Colorado, U.S.A. where he received his diploma in the ‘Rolfing Technique of Structural Integration’.
Luca Benet is a certified Anusara Yoga Teacher and an avid practitioner of Meditation for many years, among other facets of Yoga and other multiple complementary Therapies.
His professional experience of 20 years, with his own private consultation and yoga studio, and his deep knowledge of the body therapeutically together with his profound experience with Anusara Yoga, sets a strong foundation of Lucas’s teachings.

Musician, yoga teacher and an ardent advocate of the Vedas, Satyadev comes from Kolkata, India, bringing with him a magic carpet of sacred music and simple yet profound Vedantic teachings in the form of powerful mantras and heart-songs. Raised in an environment of rich Indian spiritual tradition, Satyadev's mission is to revive and spread awareness of the ancient Sanskrit mantras that have been tools of spiritual empowerment and self-realisation for thousands of years.
Satyadev carries in his heart a deep understanding of the Vedic and Yogic traditions and the essence, wisdom and power of ancient mantras. Through joyful Satsangs, Concerts and MPower Workshops, he shares the key to integrating the sacred mantras and Vedic teachings in everyday life.
Having also spent many years in company of Bauls - the Sufi minstrels of rural Bengal, Satyadev's musical sound is a rich fusion of folk and ethnic rhythms translated through an intricate weave of strings. Robin is the founding director of the Stress Management Center of Marin (SMC) in Larkspur (est.2000). She has been practicing for 40 years and teaching yoga therapy and stress management for over 20 years. Robin is both a teacher and a public speaker for Kaiser Permanente and was recently added to the hospital team working with Chronic Pain.
Robin develops programs and trains therapists to work in western healthcare environments: She trains teachers for the hospital setting at Kaiser, the Brain Injury Network of the Bay Area (brain injuries and stroke), with veteran’s programs and other special populations. Her therapist training program at SMC was the first in the Bay Area to achieve national accreditation and she was recently appointed to a national committee to help other programs achieve this standard.
From athletes to veteran’s research: Robin is in her 8th year assisting as stretching coach to a local football team. She has seen a reduction in injury severity and concussion in her tenure there. Also a researcher, Robin has researched techniques to improve respiratory strength and wellbeing in adults with Traumatic Brain Injury. She has just launched a study for veterans dealing with stress in Santa Rosa. Shari Vilchez-Blatt is a highly trained yoga teacher from New York. Since 2005, Shari has trained nearly three thousand people around the world to teach yoga to children through the Karma Kids Yoga Teacher Training Program and the KKY Teen Yoga Teacher Training Intensive.

Caroline Westling has always had a deep philosophical interest in life and as a teenager she was inspired by her grandmother to start with yoga. She first started practicing Hatha Yoga and later on turned to Ashtanga Yoga in which she took her first Teacher Training. Finally she fell in love with sequencing and proper alignment during her Yoga Works Teacher Training in 2006. Today, she has teacher trainings from different parts of the world. She has daily guidance from her Guru Acharaya Ratheesh Mani and has practiced with some of the greatest teachers, including studying closely with Maty Ezraty in the U.S.
In addition, Caroline has also education in nutrition, energy medicine and sound awareness. Caroline has taught in Swedish prisons for many years inspiring prisoners to keep a daily yoga practice to increase self-awareness and which can lead to a nonviolent behaviour. As some of the prisoners after the course put it: "more yoga to the people". She also gives lectures in schools educating young people to understand how food affects our body and by giving yoga classes to help them understand themselves, to be more present, balanced and happy for no reason. Together with her teacher, friend and life companion Acharya Ratheesh Mani she offers teacher trainings, holds international workshops, organizes retreats and teaches at yoga studios and businesses.
